LI OCEANS is a grassroots non-profit support group
& advocacy organization established in 2004.
Our group is comprised of women living with Ovarian & Gynecological
cancers, from the newly diagnosed to the long-term survivor.
Our mission is to promote education, advocacy, networking and support
to our community thereby improving the life of women on Long Island.
Our Goal we are committed to improving the overall survival rate and quality
of life for women with Gynecological Cancers.
Our mission is to promote education through advocacy & awareness with
hope to save the lives of our mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, grandmothers,
friends & neighbors.
To create awareness among women and the greater
community regarding early warning signs and symptoms that may be indicative
of ovarian cancer, resulting in earlier detection. Support the advancement
of research for early detection and cure of ovarian cancer
To provide support, resources, networking, and education
for those women diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Our vision is to reduce the number of women who
die from ovarian cancer by increasing the occurrence of early detection.
To save the precious lives of our sisters, daughters,
mothers, aunts, grandmothers, nieces, neighbors & friends.
